new look

I want to say...



I HATE this new look I have going on here - I must change it - what was I thinking!!!!! And what happened to my resolution to post at least once a week????

Well, I am working on it - procrastination has become not just my middle name but I am afraid my first!

ya right

These are the new shoes I bought this weekend...ya right! I am feeling very unfashionable lately, and these are the type of shoes I imagine myself wearing, going to cool parties, sipping exotic cocktails, and flirting with cute wealthy men.

But then I remember - I don't go to cool parties with cute wealthy men. And it's hard to walk on a snowy sidewalk, two pugs in tow, in heels. And I don't have a pedicure, so my toes would not be so cute peeking out of the peep toe. And shoes like that don't really coordinate with my work uniform very well...sigh.

I am not sure if it is the uniform which has caused me to become unfashionable - or the fact that I never want to spend money on clothes because I always think I will be on a diet and need new clothes soon anyway (hasn't happened yet). Or the fact that regular size clothes are too small and big girl clothes are not proportioned for my body.

Whatever the reason - I have decided that it is time to put an end to that. I have decided to put a conscious effort into my clothes again - and since our dress code is changing soon, this is the perfect time.

Now off the search for the perfect outfit...

New Year

Good riddance 2007!

I must say I am glad to see the tail end of 2007 - what a year it has been - kind if like a roller coaster. Although there were many great moments - on the whole it was a pretty yucky year for me...

However, I did learn some great life lessons that I am glad to have - about: love, friendship, family, and what is important in life (for me at least).

Happily things seem like they are right on track for a great year, and I am looking forward to lots of fun and adventures and maybe even a little creativity and crafting in there too!

So welcome 2008 - let the festivities begin!

So - finally revealed - the new "look".

I am not super thrilled with it so there may be some more changes to come but for now, I am tired of playing with it and want to get on to other things - like crafting so I have something to blog about!!!!

So here we go!!!

Soooooo - I have decided to start afresh - and am completely redesigning!
